A series of books for Children entitled ‘Pound Tales’ is being compiled. If you have an interesting tale to tell about one of our animals that you think would make a good story then please contact Kate on 01782 818483 or email her on justdandycreative@gmail.com
If suitable, she will then write up your tale in a book. The books will initially be available from schools. More details to follow.
I just wanted to let you know that Jessie our dog that we had from you in June has settled in really well. She is a really lovely dog and is getting lots of walks and fuss and has given us a lot of laughs ! We took her on holiday with us to Norfolk and she was brilliant. She is starting dog training next week and as she is very clever I think she will have no problems there.
Please can you pass this on to the kennels at Dilhorne where she was looked after so well and they were so helpful and caring, they even gave her a bath before we collected her.
Many thanks to you all
Just two of many

Just wanted to let you know how Treacle is doing. We adopted him from your kennels in Dilhorne on October. We only had a few days and had to take him to the vets because he was coughing and sneezing, it turned out that he had cat flu but with the help of antibiotic injections he is now fully recovered and is a truly wonderful cat. He was a very nervous and scared cat but he is now over all of that and loves to be picked up and cuddled. He enjoys lying by the open fire or log burner and meows for his treats every morning when I go to work.
Please pass on these comments to everyone at Blakeley Farm.
When we first met I had my doubts about him calming down. but you must have seen something good in him.
He is a joy to have with us and what makes us laugh is everyone who meet him say what a hansom boy he is.
