Our Events secretary went to Jail. On 25th October, Ian Griffin spent 2 hours locked in a cell at Longton Police Station. But don’t worry, it was to raise funds. He raised nearly £200 for his stay.
Not content with that he went on to be Santa during December Saturdays at our Hanley store and raised nearly the same again.
During July, August and September, 2007 employees of Vodafone, Newcastle did some fund raising events for the Branch and between them all raised nearly £7000.00 for the Branch.Picture shows the presentation to our Chairman.
