Microchipping your pet can be very beneficial to both owner and animal if the pet is unfortunate enough to stray from home.

A microchip is inserted in the back of the neck and when it is scanned it reveals a number which is unique to your pet and is on a national database with your contact details.  It is essential that your initial contact details are sent off immediately and must be updated as soon as they are changed.

This has proved successful many, many times by reuniting numerous pets with their owners and as you can imagine has saved a lot of heartache and worry.

Microchipping can be carried out at most vets and we occasionally hold special microchipping days. Details on our events page.

MICROCHIPPING  REALLY    DOES  WORK

We have had several cases of animals being re united with their owners, sometimes even before they had realised their animal was missing.
