Cruelty in the North Staffordshire area is known to be the highest in the country
Inspectors and Animal Collection Officers (ACO's) are employed by RSPCA Headquarters to cover the whole country. There are 5 Regional Headquarters who manage the Inspectors and ACOs in their region. The Branches are expected to help them financially as much as their resources are able.
The main objective of our Branch is, to help the Inspectors and ACOs, by having accommodation available for the animals who need care and attention before being put up for adoption to a new, loving home.
This, as you can imagine, costs the Branch an enormous amount of money every year. We are always struggling to be sure the Inspectors and ACOs are helped to the best of our resources.
These pictures show some of the cases we have been able to help in the past and sincerely hope there will be many more we can help in the future by doing our best to raise as much money as possible, on a regular basis, to help these animals who need our attention so desperately.
