Would you like to help run a busy Branch?
By becoming a Trustee you will join a small team of dedicated Volunteers.
We meet once a month on a Thursday Evening to run the Branch.
Trustees are responsible for ensuring that the Branch is run in accordance with Branch rules, which in turn reflect the policies of the RSPCA.
The Branch has a turnover in excess of £150,000.00 which includes income from our Shop, donations at the kennels, fund raising events, street and store collections and expenses relating to running the shop, running a small office, kennel fees and veterinary costs.
Decisions need to be made on the best use of expenditure and forms of income as well as animal related policies.
Trustees also need to publicise the work of the Branch and increase public awareness of what we can do.
We always need volunteers to join our fund raisers but we desperately need Trustees to help in the organisation of the Branch. Our Committee members are in need of fresh ‘blood’ and anyone with suitable experience and interest is invited to stand for election of the Committee.
